Envy is a free, fast Markdown notes app for Mac. Every note is a plain .md file stored locally, no account, no sync service, no subscription, no lock-in. 6.0 MB. Source is public to read; the code is proprietary. Every note is plain Markdown in a single folder we call The Index. Press Return to open the top match, or to create a note from what you just typed.
